CULTURE AND TRADITION

Arabba is the biggest village in the municipality of Livinallongo del Col di Lana, which is an area of Ladin culture and language.
The local population promotes the historical and traditional heritage and the language "Fodom" which is one of the variations of the languages of the Sella valleys. On the road to Cortina D'Ampezzo is situated Andraz Castle which dates back a thousand years and nearby is the practice rock face with varying grades of difficulty.

The main village of the municipality, Pieve di Livinallongo, hosts a rich ethnographic museum which bears witness to the history, uses and customs of the Ladin population of Livinallongo.

The musical tradition in this municipality is particularly active and there are four choirs (Parish choir, male voice choir Fodom, female choir, and the youth choir Col di Lana) a folk dancing group and a young band.
